Description
Travel back in time in a restaurant with a very Impressionist atmosphere! In Giverny in Normandy, you will fall under the spell of the former Hotel Baudy! A historic place in Giverny where artists including Claude Monet and Cézanne, Renoir, Sisley, Rodin used to go… One of those places that has kept its appealing authenticity and that takes you back to the days of Impressionism: 1900s decor, bistro furniture, and red and white chequered tablecloths. You will be able to eat simple, copious dishes and Mrs Baudy's famous omelette that is still on the menu! Take time to explore the garden, the artists' studio, still in its original condition, and the fragrant rose garden that grows on the hillside. Monet himself came here to talk with his friend Clémenceau.
