In the afternoon, head to Les Andelys, where you will find Château Gaillard: Richard the Lionheart’s unmissable fortress. Enjoy a different kind of experience with a virtual walk through Château Gaillard and Petit-Andely (leaving from the Château or the Tourist Office).

If you prefer a bit of exercise, go for a hike along the Mont Pivin trails, starting from the former Saint-Jacques hospital.
